After sitting in the living room and interviewing Susan, I became
uneasy and anxious myself! There was too much going on - from the

Creating the right atmosphere in a room encourages

That busy wallpaper had to go! I suggested they paint the walls in
colors that would create a better transition from the living room to
the dining room to the sunroom - which are open to each other.
Rearranging the furniture, replacing the drab window treatments and
grouping the collections made a tremendous improvement.
Although the room is drop-dead gorgeous now,
it’s good her husband didn’t have such an extreme reaction! I’m happy
to say that they can’t stay out of the room. It’s finally the room of
their dreams.

interview to really "get into your head". Then I identify your
decorating style and challenges to better understand your decorating
needs. Next, you and I set priorities based on your goals, lifestyle,
budget, and timeframe. I recommend the best course of action to achieve
your goals. It may be a written decorating plan, a one-day room
redesign or a more comprehensive interior decorating project.

Lucille had so many objects on display that she began to

This service is designed especially for the
do-it-yourselfer. Our meeting starts with an interview and an analysis
of your room. In a few hours I leave you with a written plan with
recommendations for how to correct problems and create the room you
want. It may include color schemes, specific paint colors, fabric
patterns, window treatment styles, furniture arrangement, and accessory
placement. It is tailored to your specific style, priorities, and
needs. If additional items are needed, a list of sources and
specifications helps you make wise buying decisions.
You can implement one or all the recommendations according to your
timeframe and budget without the fear of making a mistake. My extensive
network of resources is available to help you complete the work. Or, if
you prefer I offer follow-up interior decorating services, advice and
samples to support you in your decorating project. Either way, there is
no pressure.

skill for decorating and had always refused to hire an interior
decorator because I figured it would be quite costly between decorator
